Equal Opportunity and Commitment to Diversity

Equal Opportunity

Transplant House provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, results of genetic testing, or service in the military. Equal employment opportunity applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leave of absence, compensation, and training.

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager oversees and performs the daily operations and care of the current 25-unit apartment campus that constitutes Transplant House of Cleveland, with highest priority being the welcome and comfort of guests (patients and their caregivers), and the efficient and safe operation of the facilities. Within this multi-faceted environment, the manager leads a team of operations staff and recruited volunteers in providing a caring welcome for guests, preparing their accommodations, and maintaining a beautiful, well-kept campus. The manager triages and prioritizes guest accommodation requests.

Recognizing the vital role volunteers fill at Transplant House, the manager partners with the Director on volunteer strategy and recruitment. The manager collaborates with colleagues to provide programming activities. As a healthcare hospitality house, the organization operates 24/7/365, a sub-set of those being staffed office hours. The manager can anticipate working, as needed, some evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure the House and staff are well overseen across the various working hours.
