Giving Tuesday [header]
"Home for us" is a simple phrase, but one that says so much about how our guests feel during their stay at Transplant House.
This Giving Tuesday, you have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of transplant caregivers and their loved ones who have traveled far from home for essential medical care. For over 11 years, Transplant House of Cleveland has provided a safe, affordable, and compassionate home-away-from-home for patients and caregivers, where they can connect with others who understand the experience of being a transplant caregiver or patient better than anyone else.
Our goal for this Giving Tuesday is to raise $10,000 to help us continue to support the caregivers who stand behind every transplant patient.
Why Caregivers Need Us — and You
Caregivers leave their jobs, routines, support systems, and the familiarity of home to accompany their loved ones through transplant. They arrive in Cleveland carrying worry for their loved one, new burdens (financial, emotional, logistical), and are often exhausted and unsure of what will come next.
At Transplant House, we make sure they never have to face those challenges alone.
Because of generous supporters like you, caregivers find the comfort, guidance, and community they need during a challenging journey.
Your Gift Provides Essential Support
- A Home Away From Home - Comfortable, affordable apartments a short distance from Cleveland’s world-renowned transplant centers.
- Guidance and Education - Support from our experienced social worker, along with educational & support programming that helps caregivers feel prepared, informed, and empowered.
- Community and Emotional Support - Opportunities to connect, and form lasting friendships, with others who understand the transplant journey deeply.
- Embraced with Compassion - A warm, welcoming environment that ensures caregivers and patients feel seen and heard throughout the transplant journey.
Your contribution — no matter the size — makes a lasting and meaningful impact. Nothing we provide — not the housing, not the programs, not the compassionate community — is possible without the generosity of our donors. Together, we can ensure that caregivers and patients feel supported, seen, and embraced throughout their transplant journey.
