Transplant House of Cleveland was the honored beneficiary of more than $8,600 in contributions from the November 14 “Rock the House” fundraiser held at AJ Rocco’s and planned by Gretchen Garibaldi, Molly Nikolic, Tracey Raleigh and Cassie Rosenbaum. The event was sold out and supported by more than 100 individuals, many of whom were from the Cleveland Clinic Transplant Center. Aluminum Coils, the lead corporate sponsor, as well as Giant Eagle Specialty Pharmacy provided underwriting in order for more of the proceeds from ticket sales and raffle prizes to go to Transplant House. Dr. Charles Miller and Dr. Charles Winans were celebrity bartenders- providing great entertainment and inspiring heavy tipping.  And of course, the House was a rockin’ thanks to Cleveland’s #1 party DJ- Packy Malley!  We are very grateful for this generous small team of volunteers who see the need for affordable housing for transplant patients every day in their work at Cleveland Clinic. They acted on their enthusiasm for the Transplant House mission by spreading the word and raising much-needed resources- and simultaneously raising spirits when the Cleveland winter set in early. Thank you, Friends!!
