Transplant House of Cleveland is 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with an important mission: to provide temporary, affordable housing in a home-like environment for organ transplant patients and their families while they visit Cleveland for medical care.
Transplant House of Cleveland is expanding again!
In mid-August, nine new apartments will be opened to transplant patients and caregivers, in a building across the street from Transplant House’s existing row house (of 15 apartments).
For many, many years, this new structure has fondly been known as “The Six Pack” by the University Circle community, due to its curved structure, which makes for an unusual façade and fun interiors.
Contractors and volunteers are preparing the unique 1920’s-era building now. You too, can help make it suitable for our special guests and prepare it to lay the groundwork for the welcoming, supportive community that will come to life there.
We are looking for apartment sponsors at the $5,000 level (payable over one or two years), and we are preparing to display sponsor names on the doors of these nine new apartments. (Names will remain in that place for three years, and then be moved to a separate display with all Transplant House donors).
