Transplant House of Cleveland is 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with an important mission: to provide temporary, affordable housing in a home-like environment for organ transplant patients and their families while they visit Cleveland for medical care.
Transplant House of Cleveland Opens Building 2!
With the addition of a second building, we have increased capacity from 15 to 24 fully-furnished, thoughtfully-prepared apartments, for temporary housing for transplant patients and family members.
Building 2 is across the street from the Building 1 row house, and is a unique, 100-year old structure with curved walls, original hardwood floors, and two landing areas that invite guests to be together- around the piano or a puzzle. Building 2 offers three one-bedroom apartments and 6 studio apartments that are perfect for our shorter-term guests.
Take a photo tour of this new addition to Transplant House of Cleveland’s offerings, and know that we were surrounded and supported by many friends who donated goods, time, and creativity to the making of this home-away-from-home.
Thank you to these apartment sponsors, who each donated $5,000 to this expansion:
