Transplant House of Cleveland

Transplant House of Cleveland is 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with an important mission: to provide temporary, affordable housing in a home-like environment for organ transplant patients and their families while they visit Cleveland for medical care.

The Transplant House of Cleveland board is searching for a facility for renovation while simultaneously growing its base of friends and raising much-needed funding.

Please join us in this mission to create a cozy, welcoming home-away-from-home where transplant families can face medical challenges with the help and support of others.  You can make the difference in many lives by contributing financially, sharing your skills and connecting us to others who can help us open our doors.

Help this vision become a reality by making a financial contribution. Click Here to donate to a great cause. Thank You!

Transplant Topics: Connecting the Dots from the Gift of Life

Many people don't think about the organ donation or procurement process until they are on the receiving end or a caregiver or loved one of a patient. It can seem like a complicated and confusing process, particularly when the need is dire. Gordon Bowen has worked in organ and tissue donation for over 30 years. As the CEO of Lifebanc, he is a facilitator and witness to the miracles that occur when an organ donor saves someone's life.

Join us for a presentation on organ donation and procurement, which will include more information on the life-saving work of Lifebanc* and an opportunity ask Gordon any questions you have. This event is free to attend and light refreshments will be provided. Free parking is available in Lot 23 on Circle Drive. Contact the Transplant House of Cleveland Office at (216)938-9553 with questions!

*Lifebanc saves and heals lives through organ, eye and tissue donation for transplantation. Their vision is pursuing a future when the decision to donate is an honor and everyone waiting receives a transplant.

Transplant Topics are informal educational gatherings that allow attendees to learn about facets of the organ transplant journey, ask questions of experts and connect with others in a relaxed, casual setting.
